Location: New York.  This is a hybrid role, must live in the NY tri state area and be able to go into office 2 days a week, subject to change to 5 days at any time.

What You Would Get To Do

The People Coordinator is responsible for efficiently and effectively executing the processes and tasks required to deliver an excellent employee experience The scope of the role is to support the local region and have additional broader regional responsibilities as directed. Ensuring collaboration with the wider global team and providing occasional support where needed.  Work should be appropriately prioritized, completed on time and delivered with a strong customer focus.

Your Contributions

• Effective administration and coordination
• Execute all procedures relating to onboarding, employment changes and offboarding in an accurate and timely manner
• Draft letters and documentation to issue to employees
• Communicate in a positive and clear way with stakeholders, ensuring all interactions contribute to an excellent employee experience
• Review and respond to queries in the People Inbox regularly and in line with agreed timeframes.  Ensure that all messages are answered or escalated to appropriate contacts, providing updates on any likely delays 
• Accurate data management
• Ensure all data is entered accurately and completely to appropriate systems in line with agreed timeframes 
• Provide data and reporting for stakeholders where required and in line with confidentiality and restrictions
• Manage employee files in an accurate, timely and highly organized manner
• Continuous Improvement 
• Assess the procedures followed on a continuous basis to provide feedback on improvement or opportunities to create efficiencies
• Collaborate with other departments to review and suggest improvements and efficiencies to internal processes involving People Operations activity
• Actively seek opportunities to support wider team members in project activity

What We Are Looking For

• Proficiency in using MS Office, Google software, BambooHR
• 1 year of work experience
• Understanding of Human Resource principles, practices and procedures
• Awareness of employment legislation impacting terms and conditions in local region
• Proficient in English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong focus on excellent customer service 
• Strong sense of teamwork demonstrating cross-region collaboration
• Application of sound judgment and professionalism
• Very good communication and social skills

Working Conditions:

• Requires ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
• Requires ability to move about to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
• Requires ability to operate a computer, telecommunication devices and other office equipment for prolonged periods of time throughout the work day.
• Requires ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.  Talking is important for those activities in which the employee must impart oral information to other employees, clients and customers, in person or via telephone, and in those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions and information to others accurately, clearly and quickly.
• Requires the ability to perceive the nature of sounds.  Hearing is important for those activities that require the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, in person, the phone or online, and to make fine distinctions in sound.
• Requires clarity of near vision.  This factor is important when special and or minute accuracy is demanded and defective near acuity would adversely affect job performance and/or safety of self and others.
• Requires the ability to work and cooperate with other employees and clients at all levels and from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas, information and opinions to facilitate the task at hand.
• Requires concentrated attention for prolonged periods of time.
• Requires ability to accept the lack of control over work pace or priorities.

United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $56,988.00 - $65,536.00. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.  

Please note that the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across various U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
